How You Will Make an Impact

  • Maintain organized filing systems and ensure all compliance records and documentation are accurate and up to date.
  • Track, update, and maintain project compliance and reporting information.
  • Assist in preparing and submitting monthly and quarterly compliance reports and documentation required by regulatory agencies.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain payment reports, certified payroll records, and workforce reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with contract and regulatory requirements.
  • Attend monthly field meetings and collaborate with the Compliance Manager to review compliance issues, project updates, and determine if corrective actions are necessary.
  • Review field and site compliance reports to verify accuracy, completeness, and adherence to program requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Estimating and Procurement Departments to track and document outreach and participation efforts for project contracting opportunities (including mailings, advertisements, phone calls, emails, meetings, and negotiations).
  • Monitor and follow up on contractor participation documentation, certification records, and outreach activities to ensure proper reporting and recordkeeping.
  • Support the Compliance Manager in providing training and guidance to field management personnel regarding compliance procedures and program requirements.
  • Represent the company at networking and outreach events with public agencies, community organizations, and industry partners to promote participation in contract opportunities.

Who You Are

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Public Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of administrative, compliance, or construction industry experience preferred.
  • Experience preparing or reviewing reports, spreadsheets, and compliance documentation.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with multiple departments.
  • Ability to attend occasional field meetings and outreach events.
  • Experience working with compliance reporting for public agency or government-funded construction projects.
  • Familiarity with certified payroll reporting and workforce reporting requirements.
  • Knowledge of contractor compliance documentation and reporting processes.
  • Experience coordinating with estimating, procurement, or project management teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build professional relationships with contractors, agencies, and community organizations.
